—The practice has a very welcoming/helpful staff. It is very clean and comfortable. — The hygienist, Scarlett, was eager to listen to my concerns. She addressed those concerns while carefully cleaning my teeth, resulting in a pleasant, stress–free visit. She was very personable, gentle and thorough. — Dr. Emma was also very thorough and gentle. She was extremely knowledgeable in her assessment and offered various options for a treatment plan. — To summarize: Sparta Dental Associates is a pleasurable, stress-free environment that I would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to them being my new dental practice.

For a Radiant Smile and Optimal Health

Aesthetically pleasing, straight teeth are not just about appearance; they play a crucial role in preventing extensive dental and health issues. It might seem surprising, but the alignment of your teeth is fundamentally linked to your overall well-being. You might not see the need to correct your crooked teeth if they’re not causing you any immediate discomfort. However, proper alignment is essential for their function and durability over your lifetime.

A staggering 90% of individuals have some degree of teeth crowding or misalignment, which can lead to various problems, including:

    • Damage or loss of front teeth.
    • Food particles trapped between teeth.
    • Challenges in flossing and maintaining cleanliness between teeth.
    • Heightened susceptibility to cavities in the gaps between teeth.
    • Risk of gum disease – a condition linked to several broader health issues, such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, arthritis, and an increased risk of stroke.

If you’re experiencing any of these issues, we encourage you to book a consultation at our clinic for a comprehensive oral health assessment.

    When Should You Begin?

You might have contemplated aligning your teeth for a while, or you might have just received advice from your dentist on the need for it. Delaying the process only extends the period of potential dissatisfaction, increasing the likelihood of dental damage or related health issues. Crucially, teeth continue to shift over time.

In a few years, your teeth could be significantly more misaligned than they are now. The greater the required adjustment for alignment, the longer and potentially more costly the treatment becomes. Addressing misalignment early on is not only more straightforward but often more cost-effective before severe misalignment occurs.

Concerned about cost? There’s no need to be. Full payment isn’t expected upfront when you begin treatment. Our office is ready to discuss various payment plans that have helped many of our patients.

What to Anticipate When Your Treatment Begins

Our goal is to bolster both your overall and dental health by laying a solid foundation first. This involves aligning your teeth properly to ensure they function as they should. Remember, it’s never too late to reap the benefits of straightening your teeth.

    Crafting Your Personalized Treatment Strategy

The journey kicks off with digital impressions of your teeth to design your specific treatment roadmap. Utilizing Invisalign’s advanced software, we’re able to precisely forecast the adjustments your teeth will undergo with Invisalign. We’ll even provide a glimpse into the future, showing you the anticipated progress of your teeth at various stages, all the way up to the conclusion of your treatment. After perfecting your digital strategy, your bespoke aligners are crafted using Invisalign’s cutting-edge manufacturing technique.

    Receiving Your Initial Aligners

Upon the arrival of your aligners, we may apply small, barely noticeable fasteners to your teeth. These are designed to securely anchor your aligners and are easily removed once your treatment concludes.

    Routine Check-Ins

You’ll receive a new set of transparent aligners every couple of weeks to gradually move your teeth into their desired position, set by set, until they reach their final, intended arrangement. Office visits are arranged approximately every 1-2 months to monitor your progress and ensure everything is advancing as expected.

    A Lovely Resolution Awaits

Our team has guided countless individuals toward not just attaining the visually appealing smile they’ve longed for but also enhancing their dental and general health. This transformation has empowered them with newfound confidence and well-being, enabling them to embrace life more fully.

    Frequently Asked Questions

The length of Invisalign treatment varies based on individual needs but generally ranges from 6 to 18 months. Factors such as the initial condition of your teeth and the specific goals of your treatment plan play a significant role in determining the overall treatment time.

While Invisalign aligners are designed for near-constant wear, it’s recommended to remove them while eating or drinking anything other than water. This prevents damage to the aligners and ensures oral hygiene by avoiding food particles getting trapped.

For optimal results, it’s advised to wear your Invisalign aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking anything besides water, brushing, and flossing.

While not painful, you may experience slight discomfort or pressure for a few days after wearing a new set of aligners. This sensation is typically a sign that the aligners are effectively moving your teeth towards their desired position.

Maintaining your Invisalign aligners involves cleaning them regularly with Invisalign cleaning crystals or brushing them gently with toothpaste and lukewarm water. It’s important to keep them away from hot water to prevent warping and to ensure they’re removed when eating or drinking to keep them clear and odor-free.
