Extend the natural life of your teeth and maintain good oral health with routine dental care. Regular visits to your dentist and quick intervention at the earliest sign of decay will save you from pain, discomfort and unexpected expenses. If your teeth, gums or oral health are causing problems for you, restorative dental care will put you back on the right track and make your mouth feel normal again. General dentistry puts your overall health first. Here are some of the results you can expect from preventative and restorative care:

    Preventative Care:
  • Super clean teeth that look whiter without whitening.
  • Xrays that detect problems while they’re still small.
  • Healthy gums that don’t itch or bleed.
  • Composite fillings that halt cavities in their tracks.
  • Less sensitivity from hot and cold foods.
  • Reverse and prevent tooth decay.
  • Extend the life of prosthetics and appliances.
    Restorative Dentistry:
  • Save your natural tooth from an infection
  • Replace missing teeth with a natural-looking solution
  • Repair damaged teeth to like-new condition
  • Custom-made prosthetics and appliances
  • Eat easier, sleep better and enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

Our General Dentistry services

Composite Fillings

Tooth-colored fillings halt cavity growth and protect your tooth, matching your natural teeth for a pleasing appearance.

Dental Bonding

Renew damaged teeth or enhance the appeal of healthy teeth.

Dental Bridges

Efficiently fill gaps and replace one or more missing teeth with a custom-made dental prosthesis securely bonded in place.

Dental Crowns

Within restorative dentistry, dental crowns play a vital role by substantially enhancing the strength, aesthetics, and longevity of your teeth.

Dental Extractions

The removal of a tooth or teeth is a commonly performed procedure, usually causing minimal pain or discomfort.

Dental Implants

Functioning like to a genuine tooth root, an implant is complemented by a restoration like a dental crown to assist in the rejuvenation of your teeth's function, aesthetic appeal, and natural sensation.

Dentures

Explore two options: acquire new dentures or opt for the upkeep and restoration of your existing full or partial dentures. These contemporary dental prosthetics can seamlessly replace multiple or all of your teeth, ensuring minimal discomfort.

Root Canal

Root canal procedures are known for their precision, speed, and ability to provide rapid relief with minimal discomfort, preserving your natural tooth.

Teeth Cleanings

Maintaining oral health and avoiding unexpected dental pain and costs can be achieved by planning dental checkups and cleanings every 6 to 8 months to prevent gum disease and tooth decay.

The importance of early intervention and routine care

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We really want to see you smile. Your health is our top priority and our routine care and recommendations for early intervention come from a place of care and concern. Keeping your teeth, gums, jaw and tongue healthy right now and repairing problems when they first appear will mean much less discomfort and pain and fewer unexpected expenses for you. And that is what keeps our patients smiling.

Keep your natural teeth for longer

Did you know the most common causes of tooth loss are cavities for young adults and gum disease in older adults? Practicing good oral hygiene habits at home is a great way to keep your mouth strong and healthy and at your routine exam, we can detect the earliest signs of gum disease and tooth decay and intervene before they get worse.

Save your money

Routine teeth cleaning and exams are relatively low-cost and predictable expenses that can fit in a budget. Treatments for the earliest signs of tooth decay, such as composite fillings, also happen to be relatively low-cost and a good long-term investment. More drastic procedures needed to repair more serious health issues often come with a bigger price tag.

Don’t even think about it

One of the greatest things about optimal oral health is that you don’t even think about it at all. There are no aches or inflammation. No all-consuming toothache. You don’t have to worry about the food you want to eat or feel self-conscious about your smile. Well maintained teeth are naturally beautiful, comfortable and reliable.

Contact us today

to schedule an initial consultation & exam.

Your consultation will include an examination of everything from your teeth, gums and soft tissues to the shape and condition of your bite. Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

A routine check-up includes a teeth cleaning and an exam. Having your teeth cleaned and examined regularly will remove stuck-on-plaque and tartar that builds up even with routine brushing and flossing and will allow the dental team to monitor your general oral health with special attention to problem areas.
Leftover food particles, especially caught in hard to reach places, become a feast for the bacteria that live in our mouths. The bacteria multiply and produce an acidic byproduct that builds up on teeth and weakens enamel. Tooth decay can be accelerated with a diet high in sugar or acidic food and drinks like coffee or soda pop.
Some people are just genetically predisposed to have more cavities than others. For example, sometimes they are simply born more susceptible to cavity-causing bacteria or they have overcrowded teeth that are difficult to clean. The best thing you or anyone can do is to focus on having great oral hygiene and eating habits at home to stack the cards in your favor.
Yes. The best part about fillings is that they prevent further tooth decay and they prevent future pain. Getting a filling now is in your best interest while the problem is still small and easily managed.
Tooth decay can be prevented and sometimes even reversed with routine cleanings. Teeth that are showing early signs of decay can be treated with fluoride and composite fillings. A tooth that has become infected can still be salvaged with a root canal. Teeth that are badly decayed can be capped with a beautiful and natural-looking dental crown or resurfaced with dental veneers. As a last resort, teeth that are very badly decayed may be extracted and the function of your bite and smile can be restored with an implant or bridge. There are many treatment options available depending on your exact circumstances.
Preventative teeth cleaning and a routine exam are encouraged and completely safe. The goal here is to prevent the onset of oral infection and to treat dental symptoms that sometimes appear during pregnancy. In the event of a dental emergency such as an infection, more invasive procedures, like a root canal, may be required. Elective procedures such as teeth whitening should be postponed until after the baby arrives.

My nephew , Nicky has been a patient of Sparta Dental Associates for years. I have never been in a medical office where the staff and doctors are so upbeat and nice consistently . Nicky is on the autism Spectrum and dentists visits were always very scary to him and a challenge to get him to go. That was until we found Sparta dental. They are all amazing and go the extra mile with your patients . As a family , we appreciate how the staff interacts with Nicky. It makes a difference. You are all Very much appreciated by us and Nicky thinks of you all As his friends at the dentist❤️ Thank you

—The practice has a very welcoming/helpful staff. It is very clean and comfortable. — The hygienist, Scarlett, was eager to listen to my concerns. She addressed those concerns while carefully cleaning my teeth, resulting in a pleasant, stress–free visit. She was very personable, gentle and thorough. — Dr. Emma was also very thorough and gentle. She was extremely knowledgeable in her assessment and offered various options for a treatment plan. — To summarize: Sparta Dental Associates is a pleasurable, stress-free environment that I would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to them being my new dental practice.

My first time at this dentist and I could not have had a more pleasant experience! Dr. Quigley was great and her assistant Mira was aces! They made me feel like I had been coming to the office for years and was an old friend - it was so nice to have such a welcoming environment. Even the front desk girls were lovely! Everyone was knowledgeable and the office was clean as a whistle - so glad I chose this group to be my new dental practice !
