I was calling different Dental practices because I was told I needed an oral surgeon. I spoke with Mira at Sparta Dental Associates and she told me that they did not have an oral surgeon on staff. I was ready to hang up, when Mira said "wait a minute, don't give up. Email your x-ray and I will ask the doctor if he can help". I did as she asked, and she called me back with an appointment that day. At the office the entire staff made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Jay, as well sat and talked to me and explained what he was about to do. He too made me very comfortable. He went to work and removed the remains of my broken tooth without pain. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jay and the staff at Sparta Dental Associates.

Everyone at this practice is super nice! I had my first visit and cleaning today and it was wonderful (I know, not a word associated with dentists. But I really mean it)! Scarlett cleaned my teeth and made me feel very comfortable about the whole process and explained every step! Dr. Emma came in for my exam and was very thorough and explained every issue I had in detail. She also set me up with a treatment plan to take care of everything! I have never liked going to the dentist, but everyone in this practice makes you feel very welcomed. I am actually looking forward to going back and have my teeth fixed.

For a Radiant Smile and Optimal Health

Straight, aesthetically pleasing teeth are about more than just appearance; they play a vital role in preventing serious dental and health complications. It may be surprising, but the alignment of your teeth is closely tied to your overall health. You might not feel the need to correct crooked teeth if they aren’t causing immediate discomfort, but proper alignment is key for their long-term function and durability.

An estimated 90% of people experience some degree of teeth crowding or misalignment, which can lead to a range of issues, including:

  • Damage or loss of front teeth
  • Food particles getting trapped between teeth
  • Difficulty flossing and maintaining cleanliness between teeth
  • Increased susceptibility to cavities in the gaps between teeth
  • Greater risk of gum disease, which is associated with broader health concerns like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, arthritis, and a higher risk of stroke

If you’re facing any of these concerns, we encourage you to schedule a consultation at our clinic for a full oral health evaluation.

When Should You Begin?

You may have been thinking about aligning your teeth for some time, or perhaps your dentist recently suggested it. Delaying treatment only prolongs the period of potential dissatisfaction and increases the risk of dental damage or related health complications. It’s important to remember that teeth continue to shift over time.

In just a few years, your teeth may become significantly more misaligned than they are now. The greater the adjustment needed, the longer and possibly more costly the treatment. Starting treatment early is not only simpler but often more affordable before severe misalignment sets in.

Worried about the cost? Don’t be. Full payment isn’t required upfront when you begin treatment. Our office is happy to discuss flexible payment plans that have already helped many of our patients.

What to Expect When Your Treatment Begins

Our goal is to enhance both your dental and overall health by establishing a strong foundation. This starts with ensuring that your teeth are correctly aligned to function as they should. Remember, it’s never too late to enjoy the benefits of straightening your teeth.

Creating Your Custom Treatment Plan

The process begins with taking digital impressions of your teeth, which allows us to develop a personalised treatment plan for you. Using Invisalign’s advanced software, we can predict precisely how your teeth will move throughout the treatment. We’ll even show you a preview of the anticipated results at various stages, all the way through to the completion of your treatment. Once your plan is finalised, your custom aligners will be made using Invisalign’s cutting-edge manufacturing technology.

Receiving Your First Aligners

When your aligners arrive, we may attach small, discreet fasteners to your teeth. These fasteners help hold your aligners in place securely and will be removed once your treatment is complete.

Regular Check-Ups

Every few weeks, you’ll receive a new set of clear aligners that will gradually shift your teeth into their desired position. We’ll schedule office visits approximately every 1-2 months to check on your progress and ensure that everything is moving forward as expected.

A Lovely Resolution Awaits

Our team has guided countless individuals toward not just attaining the visually appealing smile they’ve longed for but also enhancing their dental and general health. This transformation has empowered them with newfound confidence and well-being, enabling them to embrace life more fully.

Should you be considering a consultation to explore ways to achieve a radiant and wholesome smile, please reach out to our office. We are eager to welcome you.

Frequently Asked Questions

The duration of Invisalign treatment varies depending on individual needs, but it typically ranges from 6 to 18 months. The initial condition of your teeth and your treatment goals play a key role in determining how long the process will take.

While Invisalign aligners are designed for almost constant wear, it’s best to remove them when eating or drinking anything other than water. This helps prevent damage to the aligners and keeps your oral hygiene in check by avoiding food particles getting trapped.

To achieve the best results, it’s recommended to wear your Invisalign aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. You should only remove them when eating, drinking anything other than water, and for brushing or flossing.

Invisalign treatment isn’t painful, though you may feel slight discomfort or pressure for a few days after starting a new set of aligners. This is usually a sign that the aligners are effectively shifting your teeth into their new positions.

To keep your Invisalign aligners clean, use Invisalign cleaning crystals or gently brush them with toothpaste and lukewarm water. Avoid hot water to prevent warping, and always remove them while eating or drinking to keep them clear and free of odors.
