At Sparta Dental Associates, we’re committed to building a stronger relationship with our Sparta community. Drs. Jay and Janice Cazes are members of the Panthers chapter of Business Networking International (BNI). They volunteer at Morristown Memorial Hospital, teaching dentists in the residency program. Both dentists are members of the board of Freedom Horse, LLC., and provide equine-assisted hippo-therapy to students and campers at these facilities. They also take part in the Halloween Candy Buy Back as part of Operation Gratitude where they collect candy and then ship the candy, along with toothbrushes, to members of the armed forces at home and abroad.
Always Growing
Doctors Jay and Janice recently received the Lifetime Learning and Service Recognition Award, which represents over 500 hours of continuing education, 150 hours hands on training, and over 100 hours of community/volunteer services in the timeframe of 4 years. They were awarded the distinction of a Mastership of Academy of General Dentistry in 2017. To achieve this honor, Doctors Cazes each had to complete over 1,100 hours of continuing education in each different area of dentistry, with 400 of those hours specifically devoted to hands-on training. This award is only achieved by approximately 1% of dentists in the world. As such, Sparta Dental Associates is able to provide comprehensive, quality dental care to patients of all ages without having to frequently refer people to other providers. They doctors are both part of the Spear Study Club and The International Study Club. They are always studying the latest techniques and procedures to provide state-of-the-art care for their patients.
